thumbTack: Oatmealbreakfast song
Last week I wondered what the subject of my latest song was going to be. I thought of a thumb tack and thought to myself that that sounds interesting so I got to typing. It took me a week of easy work
until the song got finished. I hope someone likes the result. Until next week this is OatmealBreakfast.

hideAndSeek: Another lackluster song from oatmealBreakfast
I wish people said that our songs are so bad they are good. But, no one says anything about our songs. I suppose silence is better than nothing. Wait silence about our songs means people said nothing.
SO anyway I thought hide and seek would be a good subject for a song so I wrote that song.
Its so fun writing musics. Its a shame that I am the only one who listens to the song. Then again I don't want people wasting several minutes of their lives listening to OatmealBreakfast songs. They have better things to do with their time. I hope.
Until next time this is OatmealBreakfast saying good morning.

everyOneElse - OatmealBreakfasts new song
Its a new song but, its not necessarily improved. So new and improved. I doubt it. I wrote the lyrics to this song over a year ago. I think it sums up the way I think about some things. Does anyone care about what I think. I am sure they don't. If anyone listen's to the song I hope they don't think it a waste of time. I hope they even enjoy listening to it and listen to it again and again and again. I am sure that will not happen. But, I can dream. This is OatmealbreakFast saying until next time Good morning.

anguish A song composed by OatmealBreakfast
This is a song I hopefully wrote about Anguish. I wrote the lyrics about two years ago. I used this blender tutorial to model the umbrella in the cover image for the song. The lyrics for the song could be better. I do like the music for the song. That's not news. I enjoy all the songs I write a compose. Though I wish they were better. Until next week this is Oatmealbrekfast saying good morning If anyone listen to the song I hope they enjoy it.
Review: There's Money Where Your Mouth Is (Fourth Edition): A Complete Insider's Guide to Earning Income and Building a Career in Voice-Overs

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I had heard about this book from the book 101 weird ways to make money. I finally got around to reading it. It was an interesting read. Though I don't know if I want to be a voice actor. The exercises in the book for voice acting were fun. And I can't wait to try the app for voice exercises that the author has. Even though I did not do the exercises because I don't own a microphone were fun to read through. There was a chapter on what equipment you can purchase for voice actor. All the chapters were informative. Now when I hear a voice over artist I listen to how the actor talks. Maybe one day I will be a voice actor also. I does sound like an interesting career.

Review: Trash-to-Treasure Papermaking

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Before reading this book I had never thought about making my own paper. Paper making paper by hand does not seem that hard. I did not do the projects but, the project were my favorite part of the book. One of my favorite projects was the seed paper. I hope to do the projects sometime in the future.

Review: Homegrown Honey Bees: An Absolute Beginner's Guide to Beekeeping Your First Year, from Hiving to Honey Harvest

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I enjoyed reading this book. Bees are so adorable. I liked the what would you call it profiles of beekeepers from different parts of the country. I also liked the bee diary parts of the book where the author talks about her experiences. I liked the discussion about some of the pests of bees. I learned some things that I did not learn from other books on beekeeping. I also liked that the book was quick to read.

Review: Watch Your Tongue: What Our Everyday Sayings and Idioms Figuratively Mean

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
When I started to read this book I though I am not going to enjoy reading this book. I thought I might not even want to finish reading the book. But, i decided to keep reading. And the book got more interesting for me as I kept reading. I had heard a lot of the idioms in the book and it was fun to learn their history. I also liked learning about idioms from around the world. This year I am going to improve my book reviews. I hope. It probably wont happen. Oh, well.

Review: The Garden of Invention: Luther Burbank and the Business of Breeding Plants

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
What a book. Before reading this book I had heard of Luther Burbank. I knew that he raised pants. But, I had no idea when he lived or how long he lived or if he ever got married. I had also heard of the spineless cactus he developed. That was the extent of my knowledge of Luther Burbank. The book was a pager turner for me. I was surprised to learn that Luther Burbank was born in New England. I was
surprised of the prices of his plant introductions in his 1893 new creations catalog. He was fascinating to learn more about. I liked his mothers Name Olive. This book made me want to be a plant breeder.
