Andre the giant was one of my favorite wrestlers in the 1980's. I used to watched WWF wresting probably ever week. And sometimes I would even watch it when it was on late at night if i did not fall asleep to early.

I liked that Andre the giant: life and legend was a quick read. I also liked the artwork. I would have thought it have been fun to be so big. One story in the book stuck out at me. It was when Andre the giant got out of bed and his ankle snapped. That would be so scary. I would freak out if that happened to me.

When I watched Andre the giant wrestle I never knew that Acromegally or that he might not live past forty. I did not know until years later that Andre the giant had died in 1993. I don't remember where I was when I head that he was dead. I think I heard that he had died in a cave in France.

i think Andre the giant was a fascinating person. In addition to Andre the giant: life and legend I have also watched a documentary about his life.. I can't remember the name of the documentary though.

Andre the giant: Life and legend was worth the time it took me to read it. Maybe I will read it again.

I liked that this book was a quick read I could make my way though it fast so I can get up and playing chess. I liked the pages about the chess pieces. Now I know there are Rooks, Knights, Bishops, King,
Queen, and pawns. I also liked the discussion of opening moves and I also liked the pages about wold chess champions. i knew the name Bobby Fischer, And Gary kaspurov that's all the chess names I know. I wonder what it would be like to be a chess champion.
While reading the book I wondered whether I would want to put in the time to become a chess champion. I don't think so. I do want to play chess. I don't care if I am great at playing chess. I have not played chess much. So I could change my mind after playing chess a little. Time will tell. Now its time to play chess.

For me its always enjoyable to read about bees. It seems to me that every book about bees I read I learn something new. Or at least the facts about bees are further cemented in my mind. There is so much to know about bees. Its hard for me to remember all that I want to remember. At least now I know that there are more types of bees than honey bees, and bumble bees.
This is book is a quick read. It talks about hive site selection, hive types, how often to check bees, how to check bees, the pest an diseases of bees, honey, Propolis, pollen. It talks about how to harvest the honey. So its a solid book.
My favorite part when the hive section. I had never heard of a few of the types of hives. I enjoyed reading this book. As I wrote its always fun to read about bees. I feel I did not waste my time by reading this book.
