Body Building

It was about 2 years ago that I read some articles in an issue of  flex magazine. I have never payed much attention to body building but, reading the magazine made bodybuilding seem so exciting. I thought wow, that seems so fun to work hard and build up your muscles.

In that issue of the magazine I first heard about a movie called pumping Iron. I could not wait to see the movie acquire the movie. Eventually I did get my hand on a dvd of the movie and a have watched it many, many times. Someday I hope to watch pumping iron 2 when it comes out on dvd. I think it will be interesting to see what women bodybuilders looked like in the early 1980's.

Bedroom Wall Posters

I read a post on about.com exotic cars written by Kristen Hall-Geisler called Bedrom exotics. The article talks a little bit about wall posters, that post gave me the idea to write about some of the bedroom wall posters I had.

I had a couple of posters of Ferrari's and Lamborghini's. I can't remember what models the cars were.

The sports posters are the ones I remember the best. I had a few posters of basketball players, Chris Webber when he was with the golden state warriors, Charles Barkley when he was with the Phoenix suns, two posters of Michael Jordan one poster was regular sized, but the other poster could almost cover my bedroom door it must have been 3 or 4 feet long.

I had a few wall posters of football players. One was Joe Montana when he was with the Kansas city chiefs and the other poster was of Troy Aikman of the Dallas Cowboys.

I don't have bedroom wall posters anymore. I am not sure why I took down all my posters, but I did. Maybe someday I will hang the posters back up, or even buy some new posters.

Rock Crawling

I heard about rock crawling from steel dreams a T.V. show about all things steel. Before I saw rock crawling on steel dreams I never new it existed. Some things I like about rock crawling are. I love vehicles with big tires. I would love to be able to buy on of those dune buggy's, I think that is what they are and drive around off road somewhere.

I don't think I'd do good at rock crawling it looks scary. I would be afraid to flip the vehicle over. I think I would not have the Patience for rock crawling either, because the sport looks to me like it takes time. Rock crawling was fun to watch though.

Favorite Pro football team

My favorite pro football team is the San Francisco 49ers. I started liking them when Steve young was there quarterback. Some of my favorite 49ers when I became a fan of the team were Ricky waters, Jerry Rice, and John Taylor who was my favorite player.

Those were the good old days when the 49ers got ten or more wins every year. Its been a few years since they have had ten wins. I love watching 49ers games when ever I get the chance.Last year the 49ers did not do so well, but hopefully this will be a good year. I think the will go 10 and 6 and make the playoffs.

More Notre Dame

One of my favorite books is about the Notre Dame fighting Irish football team. The book is called Shake Down The Thunder: the creation of notre dame football and it is written by murrary sperber.I enjoyed reading Shake Down The Thunder. I loved learning the history of the Notre Dame football team. I also learned somethings about the history of college football. It took me a while to read, but I got it finished. I hope to read it again some day.

I also enjoyed the movie Rudy that came out in 1995 about a player on the Notre Dame football team in the 1970's. Rudy is an inspiring movie and I always felt better after I watched it. It is a feel good movie. I think I can accomplish anything after watching Rudy.

college football

My favorite college football team is Notre Dame. I started watching the Fighting Irish around 1992 or so. That was back when Jerome Bettis, Reggie Brooks, and Rick Mirer played for the team. I can't believe that was 16 years ago wow, such a long time ago.

I don't know why I started watching Notre Dame football. I do know I have enjoyed Notre Dame football ever since that time. It became something to do on a Saturday that I enjoyed. Sports were something I was obsessed with back then. I would say sports were one of my two hobby's. The other hobby playing video games.

I liked reading sports illustrated, I also read the sports section of the local paper, I listened to sports talk radio, I watched sports on television. Looking back now if I could do that time over again I would concentrate on school more, but I can't change what I did then.
