Lauren was now ready for a night out on the town since he had been playing video games the night before. He decided that rather play video games in his apartment why not go to a video arcade.

The computer city video arcade was owned by Cynthia Files the founder and owner of star computer. She decided to start it because she thought that kids needed more places to go after school instead of only going home and sitting on their computers for hours and hours with no one to talk to but, through a computer screen. The building was rectangular with columns on the outside to make it look like a building from ancient Greece.

There were dozens of video games in the arcade along with a pool table and a pizza parlor that also served drinks. Lauren decided to sit down at a table and order a pizza before playing the video games so that he could see if there were any women he was interested in. The pizza was a peperoni with sausage and extra cheese for a drink he ordered regular soda from the computer city soda company brand which was also started by Cynthia Files.

Lauren waited and waited until he saw a women who looked like she had money she was wearing designer clothing and had a fancy hand bag that had gold beads on it. When she sat down he went over and introduced himself as Tom West a world famous cowboy. Who had competed in hundreds of rodeos and worked on his ranch in computer city driving his cattle to and from their summer to winter feeding grounds. "I adore horses because they are a cowboys best friend and companion out there on the trail and in rodeo competition.

"So who are you he said." "I am the owner of computer city tire company which manufacturers tires that are on 90 percent of the cars in computer city and 20 percent of the tires world wide. I am also a yacht captain who has captained in the computer city cup. Which is a competition to see who owns the fastest yacht in time trials and a long journey on lake computer city which lasts a total of about a week and is a great test of speed and endurance. I have place in the top 50 every time I have entered and this year I hope to break into the top 40 out of 200 yachts that enter witch I think is good since I am not a professional boat woman. I hope to one day break into the top 10 or even hope against hope to win the cup but, that is long shot but, why not wish for big things and then they might happen.

Lauren was also an avid video game player. He would sometimes instead of going out at night spend all night playing video games. He had even competed in sever video game competitions.

One competition was the computer city video game players association world championship. It was composted of several rounds where hundreds of video game players from computer city would compete against each other until the best player was crowned and given a huge cash reward and free video games and a free video game console and a top of the line computer. It Was a competition that everyone who cared about video games wanted to win but, only a few had won.

One year Lauren entered the competition with several friends as a team. The did ok for non-professional video game player but, Lauren knew that he would never be good enough to become a professional video game player so he only competed in a competition once in awhile because of the fun and excitement of it all.

Tonight Lauren decided to stay in his apartment and play video games instead of going out on the town to get a women to marry him. His video game collection included an old hyperdrive video games console made by star computer company. It was in top flight condition because he took good care of it. He liked to play a game called space ball which was a game who's her was named Garish who was from the planet mars who joined the computer city crime fighters to fight aliens from the moon who were trying to take of the planet earth. Even though Garish was not from the planet earth he was certain that if the aliens from the moon took over the planet earth that mars would be the next planet on their agenda.

So the object of the game was for the human payer(Garish) to lead a squadron of attack ships against the mean moon men and save the planet earth from take over from the mean moon men. If he failed the who universe could be lost for all anyone knew. Garish was just one part of earths defense force with the other part on the earths surface itself which consisted of an army hidden in the hills and country sides and cities of earth on the look out for the troops the of the take over men. The was a lot of pressure on Garish because he had so much riding on his success.

Lauren found the role of Garish intriguing and exciting. He also found the graphics of the game to be good considering when the games was made so long ago but, he did wish that a sequel would come out with better graphics and game play but, he was satisfied with the game. He would play the game for hours and hours on end even though he owned many many video games.

Lauren decided to leave the Disco can asked Patricia for her phone number. He planned on going to his apartment to get some much needed sleep. He had redecorated his apartment to look like candy cane with everything with alternating red and white in color it was an amazing site to see. From the walls to the pillow cases looked like one big candy cane. It looked good enough to eat.

He decided to have a shower and then turn in for some much needed sleep after a night of lying trying to make himself seem more prestigious so that he would seem so much more desirable to a women with money. It plum wore him out and he needed some good rest to get to work tomorrow.

He worked as a sweeper for a man who could not enter sweepstakes himself because he could not stand to sit on his computer all day and enter sweepstakes so he paid Lauren to enter the sweepstakes for him.

Lauren got up at the crack of dawn and made a breakfast of bacon and eggs and had some orange juice. He then started the thirty minute walk to Harkens house; the man who he worked for entering sweepstakes. When he got to Harkens house he went to the front gate and pressed the button on the intercom to say that this is Lauren and that I am ready for work.

He was buzzed inside the grounds of the house by Harkens security guard and he stepped into the main house about five minutes later ready to sit at the laptop for about six straight house with only one break and enter sweepstakes. He did not like sitting in front of a computer anymore than harkens did but, he also did not like the idea of getting a real job so he did what he hated because it was easier than anything else he could think of and it paid well.

At 2:30pm everyday he would get a fifteen minute break to eat cakes and cookies along with a hot chocolate so he could rest his hands and body from all of that sitting and then it was back to the computer until about 4:00pm when he would head home for a night of partying and Disco if he so choose. His boss did not care what he did with his off time since he only worked for him entering sweepstakes.

After work Lauren would go home and shower and watch television for about an hour and then decided were to go to hit on women and see if he could snag himself a rich woman. Which he never seemed to be able to do but, he was sure if he kept trying he would someday succeed. He just knew he would even if he was eighty years old and finally met a rich women.

Then next women he met was the wife of the owner of the Disco and her name was Patricia. She was looking to have a affair because her husband was not paying attention to her and she was lonely and needed a man to talk to. Someone who would give her some much needed attention.

She was 5'10 with blond hair wearing a black evening dress with a pearl necklace and her hair tied in a bun. She looked amazing. She was wearing an expensive perfume and red lipstick and some nice earrings. She was a site to behold.

She started talking about one of her favorite hobbies, computer programming. She was a self-taught computer programmer well almost a computer programmer she only had read computer programming books and tutorials. She had accounts for repositories on the internet to store her programs but, they were empty. But, someday she hoped to fill them with the programs she had written but, for now it would probably be a long time before they were filled but, there was always hope.

She also had in interest in food. She liked candy particularly the computer city candy company's bugs which were a mix of sugar and a gummy substance with and orange flavoring which she could eat by the bagful.

"So she asked what is your name stranger" "Lauren he said." "Are you a host of the computer city gazette television show." "No but, I am a world famous skydiver with several world records under my belt including a jump from the edge of outer space and he was the first person to make such a jump but, he is semi retired from the skydiving to focus on his first love competitive eating. He was in training now for the computer city competitive eating world championships. He liked hot dog competitive eating because he liked hot dogs and he could eat them really really fast and that was great as far as he was concerned.

"Is there anything else that you are good at Lauren." "No I am afraid that I am only good at about two things but, I am extremely good at the things that I am good at even if I am not good at that many things." "Oh, that is to bad Lauren but, at least you are good at the few things that your can do. So what do you look for in your special women she asked Lauren." "I look for a woman with money and great taste in clothing. I know that might be superficial but, you have got to admit that I am honest and that is better tan saying that I want a women who I love and I don't care about money or clothing. I am proud of myself for being so honest for once in my lifetime. Because I usually lie all the time Patricia.

Lauren promptly got up and did a cartwheel to impress his new quarry. And she was impressed and then he said look what I can do and promptly did a head stand. Which did not impress her as much but, it still made some points. "So what else can you do she said. I can drink a can of soda in under a minute. I am the soda drinking champion of computer city three years running now.

"That is very impressive can you do anything else. I can spend money like no one else. And I think that is my greatest trait of all. And I can spend it faster than anyone else he said." "She said that is great because I have a lot of money and need a man but, you are not my type and I am sorry for taking up you time. I will take my leave she said.

Lauren was upset by the rejection so he ordered himself another ice water. He sipped on his water and thought of all the money of that women who rejected him that he could have spent and what he could have bought. What kind of expensive car could he have been driving around town in and impressing all the strangers that he would never see again but, the would see him in his fancy car.

He decided to stop feeling sorry for himself and look for a new women to marry. He looked around and he saw plenty of couples but, not many single women and that was ok with him because maybe they were quality of quantity. He decided to go for a red head who sat down at the other end of the bar so he got up off his bar stool and headed for her and when he got to her instead of sitting down he started talking to her. He introduced himself as a millionaire even though he had on sneakers and sweats. He said the reason he was dressed so shabbily was that he did not like to look like he had money because people would try to take advantage of him because they thought he had money and want to rip him off or mug him or something horrible like that.

"She said that that was smart and if she had money she would do the same thing which made Lauren quickly turn and walk somewhere else without saying goodbye because he did not want to waste time talking to a women if she did not have money. He was not here to make friends he was here at the disco to make money and that was it. It was not fun and games. SO with that in min he quickly looked for another women to go after and after about a minute of looking he found her.

So he left the women and went to the bar to console himself with an ice cold water since he did not drink when was working. He thought he would never get a women to be interested in he and then marry her an spend all her money leaving her penniless and broke and then he would move on to another women whit more money to spent. He thought I should be positive and think that there is always the next women. That there was some poor desperate women ready to fall for his hapless advances and make him a very rich man. He always had to have that hope.

So he looked around the disco and did not see any interesting prospect which he thought was because it was so early so he decide to just sit at the bar and nurse his ice water and see if any women would come to him. And wouldn't you know it some tall brunette waled up to him and asked if she could sit down an buy him a drink. "I don't drink but, you can give me the money it would have cost you to buy me a drink. I think that would be a great thing for you to do." "Unsurprisingly she declined." "Ok so what do you you do for a living he asked her". "I am a welder and I weld underwater on ship that need to be repaired." "Wow, I have never met a female welder before. How did you get into that line of work." Well she said I wanted to be a welder from the time I grew up. Sure some women wanted to be a princess or meet the perfect man and get married but, no not me I was reading welding textbooks and out in my dad shop practicing what I had read in the aforementioned textbooks and getting to be a pretty good weld by a young age. When most girls were playing dress up with there dolls I was dream and working to be the best welder that I could be. I wanted to be the best welder in the world but, I would settle for second best, he he."

"Then I went to a special school that taught underwater welding and learned how to repair ships and other things that needed to be repaired that were underwater." "How fascinating Lauren said. So how much money are you pulling down." "She looked at Lauren as if he was a man from a different planet and said I don't discuss how much money I make with strangers." "But, I am not a stranger because we have already know each other for over thirty minutes." "That still makes you a stranger in my book she said" "Well if you see it that way".

Lauren kept talking to the women until he finally worked up the courage to ask her to marry him. "Will you marry me women who's name I don't yet know. Lauren said". "I don't know what to say to the she said and by the way my name is Kat as in Kathrine." "Wow, that is such a pretty name and I will give you no time to think over my proposal so you have to answer me now." "In that case I will answer no because I have married a guy after knowing him for an hour and that marriage did not turn out so well. No, it did not. We divorced after only an hour of marriage."

Lauren abruptly got up from the table and left the women alone without even a goodbye. He then went to the bar to hit on the female bartender who laughed off his advances and Lauren just as quickly moved on. He walked over to an empty table that was empty and took a seat to think about his next victim. There were several women of interest over at one table and then there were several other women at another table. He decided to go for all the women instead of choose one group.

At the first table he went the he introduced and she he was a clown who worked at children's birthday parties. The were impressed right away. A man who liked to be fun was a person women would find irresistible as far as Lauren saw it. "I am also a millionaire he said to the now awed crowed of over-aged women. He now had to see if anyone of them had any money and wanted to go out with him or even he was holding his breath marry him. "So does anyone want to marry me or just go out on a date of course I will let you pay for dinner and a movie. No one showed any interest so he went to the other group of women.

He introduced himself as a small time movie star who had stared in sever low-budget B-movies that no one has ever seen. The women were not impressed so he added that he had once been to a party that was hosted by Rip Thomas the huge mega movie star who was computer city. "The was one green haired women who seemed interested so he made a bee-line to her chair a started making jokes. Knock knock who's there then he realised his big mistake that he was not supposed to say who's there so he tried the joke again. Knock knock. Whos there she asked. Who's where he asked and no one laughed but, he kept trying.

Back at his house Lauren showered and got ready to go out for a night on the town. He was going to computer city disco. It was a place that just opened up to take advantage of the new disco craze that was enveloping computer city.

The disco was located at the center of the city on main street.

The building was green and blue with a pink roof and was open twenty-four hours a day. Which made it the center of computer city's social life. Lauren had never been to the disco but, he wanted to go and see what it was like and if he liked it he would be sure to go everyday and have a great time trying to impress women. He was ready to go and then he walked out his door and instead of wanking since the disco was only a five minute walk away the decided to walk instead of drive his car. He arrived at the disco at 5:00pm and was ready for a night of partying and drinking and impressing women. He waked into the door and was almost knocked unconscious but, he got up off the ground and opened the door instead of walking into it this time and was greeted by the cold air of an air conditioner and loud disco music.

The music that was playing was by a band called the Pine Trees - a disco group that had been together for over a decade but just got their first hit with Disco Dance. The lyrics were: Disco dance do the disco dance, disco dance. The song was on the album called Pine Tree. It sold over 300,000 albums in just under a week and was the biggest seller of the year 2020. This made the band members who were all women rich women. This was just great. The Pine Tree's were in the studio recording there second album tentatively titled Spruce Tree. It was sure to be a disco hit.

Lauren waked to a table in the back were a beautiful women was sitting who just surely wanted to be impressed by his lies. She walked up the table and asked if he could sit down and she said yes. "Can I buy you a drink he asked." "No she said." "ok". Do you want to know something about me that you don't now he asked." "yes, she said". "I am a world class poker player and have played in the computer city international poler tournament and have placed ten or higher for every year I have entered." "That is amazing she said. "Yes I am playing another tournament this weekend as a matter of fact."

Lauren decided to leave the party abruptly and get in his car and drove to the coast. He raced to the coast to drive fast on the roads that have steep .cliffs. He liked to drive his car at high speed along the cliffs of computer city's highway 203. It was a great thrill because he was always afraid of going over the cliffs and fling 100 feet to his death. He did not want to die he just loved the thrill of going fast.

He would then stop at his favorite fast food restaurant on 203. It is called the Burger. He would always order 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and a milk shake and eat it in the restaurant. He would then drive back to his place of residence by way of highway 203. He always enjoyed the ride back more because he was tired and the risk of making a mistake and getting in an accident was that much more.

Then next day Lauren was at a bar and saw a women he thought might be rich and interested in him. He walked up and introduced himself as a famous musician who had traveled the would with his string quartet. She was impressed she he embellished the story even more. He said he had also traveled the world as a rock musician and even made his own movie. "Wow, that is impressive she said. What was the movie about she asked. "It was about a surfer who was one of the top surfers who was also a bartender. It was a moderate box office success. But he was planning to make another movie that he was sure would be a huge success." "Where did you go that was interesting on you world tour with the bands she asked. Well actually it was close to home the computer city café because all my friends showed up when we did the show and my parents even dropped by. And we had all the candy we could eat backstage. We demanded all the candy we wanted to eat and we got all the candy we wanted to eat now that is amazing". "That is amazing she said. Then there was this time at a little dinner where we preformed with fireworks exploding in the background in the parking lot. Let me tell you you have not lived until you play an instrument with exploding fireworks in the background. That was exciting he said".

The there was another time where I was on stage all alone during a guitar solo when a women came up on stage and punched me in the mouth and I had to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room and she had to be taken to jail and have her hand fixed up because it was a mess after she punched my face.

Lauren Thomas was a man who would say anything to impress someone. We catch Lauren at a party and he sees and attractive women. He strolls up to her. She is an attractive red head about five feet ten inches tall with a wonderful smile. He introduced himself as a Texas oil tycoon even though he had never been to text and had never seen a barrel of oil. "Oh, how wonderful she said. I have always wanted to meet a rich man who wanted to marry me she said. "I did not say anything about marriage he said. "I am just flirting with you she said. "oh, he said. So do you want a date". "No I don't want a date she said I was just flirting with you. "I hate rejection he said and turned around and looked for the next women to try to impress.

He did not see anyone he was interested so he decided to go sit by the buffet table to see if he could find anything to eat. The buffet was good it have everything from appetizer to dessert. Suddenly a women walked over to get something to eat. She was five two and blond and she looked like she had a lot of money because she was dressed in designer clothing and had the air of a rich person. She he made a bee line for her as she was sampling some of the appetizers.

Hello he said. Hello she said. "I am a flight attendant on a layover and decided to come to this part she said. "How interesting." "yes it is interesting"."I have flown all over the world and lived all over the world she said. "I live on my own private island and my own private jet to get to that island Lauren said. "Could I take a trip to the island." No because I am having it remodeled. "your have a whole island remodeled". "yes I am and let me tell you its costing me a fortuned." "Wow that is impressive spending a lot of money to have a whole island remodeled I so want to marry you Lauren. Oh, believe it or not you are not the first women to say that to me. I am so adorable I know. I am such a catch it surprising I am not married but, I don't want to commit since I want to be single and not tied to a women. I like living the single life.

"How interesting She said. I like independence in a man. I hope you never get married if that is the way you want to live your live.

Patricia had a job now she had to find and apartment. She looked in the real estate section of the computer city chronicle. She had a budget of about two thousand dollars a month and that was a good sum for the computer city realist estate. She circled several listings that were in the paper and called the numbers. She made appointments to see the properties.

The next day she planned to make a day of it looking at houses and apartments to rent. She got up early and ate breakfast and got in her car to drive to the first appointment.

It was an apartment on main street. It was a two story house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bath building. It was a turn of the century building and It was a bit to old as Patricia decided that she wanted to live in a newer house or apartment. The house was yellow with dormers and flower boxes on the windows. It was gorgeous but, to old.

The next place she looked at was an apartment. It was contained in a five story building in downtown computer city positioned next to one of computer city's biggest department store/supermarket. The store was called Carothers and owned by a millionaire name John goodson. Patrice was happy that the apart would be right next to a store so that she would not have to drive to get groceries. She would not have to spend a lot on gas to feed herself. She could go shopping every day if she wanted to and not have to have a refrigerator. Which would saver her having to buy one and save a lot of money on her energy costs wich she had to take into consideration when deciding to rent places. She defiantly liked to save money and save energy in the process. The environment was important to her. The apartment was a one room affair with one bathroom. It was just the right size for a single person like herself. She did not want a place that was to big as that would mean more energy to heat the place during winter. She would give this place strong consideration.

She only had one place to visit. It was a house that she could by not just rent. It was blue with white trim and 2 bed 1 bath that was part of a new building complex on the west side of computer city. Patricia like the idea of buying a house rather than renting a house or an apartment. She would not waste her money on rent and she would own her own place and that provided a sense of security. She liked that. Because if she ever lost her job at least if she had the house paid off she would not have to worry about losing a her house or her place to live.

I don't read my facebook

I dont care if she is from Brasil

I wouldn't know. I have a facebook account but, I only use it for sweepstakes. I did read it for about a month or so a few years back but, I would get upset reading some of the status updates. So I stopped reading facebook and I have never looked back. I spend enough time on my computer and I don't want to spend time reading facebook. I would rather learn about something that interests me using my computer than read facebook.

The Mechanic, Page 2

One of Patricia's hobbies was gardening. She liked to garden with her friend Susan. A typical day of gardening involved Susan coming over to Patricia's house. The would go out to Patricia's garden and start by cutting any plants that need pruning and then they would plant the annuls that would make Patricia's garden look great. They would work for about two hours and then call it a day because they were exhausted.

After computer city college Patricia tried farming because that is what she went to college for but, then she decided that she did not enjoy farming full time and there was not enough money in farming so she decided that she needed to find another job.

She surveyed her interests and talents and decided to become a automotive mechanic. Then she had to decide the best was to lean how to become an automotive mechanic. She picked a trade school. Computer city automotive school. The school was founded in 1980 by a team of people who wanted to bring the joy of learning automotive repair to the masses of computer city.

The building that it was housed in was a former warehouse converted into the school. The building was large and square with many garage doors perfect for an automotive school. There were several class room area's with connected shops. The students would spend time in the classroom learning from textbooks and getting instruction from an instructor and then get go out to the shop and learn hands on experience. The was one one degree. It was two years and guaranteed that the school would help try to find the graduating student a job when they graduated. The tuition was 20,000 dollars but, that was a lot cheaper than going to a university or on an expensive European vacation say.

Patricia graduated at the top of her class. She worked endless hours on cars wanting to get as much practice as she could on different automotive problems so that when she did get a job she would be ready to tackle an problem. She believed that hard work would be the thing that would set her apart from other mechanics and make her one of the best mechanics that computer city or the would had ever seen.

After graduation Patrica got a job at a department store to repair the fleet cars. She was really looking forward to her new job.

The Department store was name computer city department store. A million dollar business that had many many cars to be maintained and repaired. Patricia would be involved preventative maintenance on the stores delivery vans. Its was a job that she thought she was sure to enjoy and look forward to going to everyday.

The Mechanic

Patricia Watson was one of computer city's best automotive mechanics. She did not start out life wanting to be a mechanic. Patricia wanted to be a farmer but there was no money in it especially in computer city.

She grew up on her grandparents farm. He parents died young and then she was sent to live with her grandparents farm. That is when her dreams of carrying on the family business started.

On her grandparents farm they grew tomatoes and corn. And Patricia learned how to work on the farm equipment. Witch she enjoyed very much.

She attended computer city high and got good grades so she could go to a good farming college. One of her favorite activities to do on the farm was to bail hay. She would first cut the grass with a mower. She loved sitting out in the open air on a tractor and cutting the grass and feeling a sense of accomplishment.

She went off to college and she found a love of film making. She had never been much of a move watcher before but, now a college she watched as many movies as she had the time to watch. She had yet to make a film of her own or write a screen play but, she knew eventually she would. She just loved that with movies you could be taken to a fantasy world where anything with possible and magic could happen.

During college she also discovered a love of computer programing. She did not take any programming classes preferring to learn on her own and see if she could learn on her own. She did not have an overwhelming love of computing she just wanted to see if she indeed could make her own programs and she like bossing the computer around and she liked the idea that the computer would do exactly what she wanted it to do with no questing or back talk. She was the boss of the computer and the computer could do nothing about it. She dabbled in many programming languages before settling on two or three that she wanted to learn more about. She wish she had had more focus and started making programs right away the first day she started programming and not had wasted time with trying all those programming languages though. Why waste the time learning many programming languages and not making programs when the whole point of learning to programs was to make programs. It was unwise to waste time not making programs. She knew that she wanted to program video games and since she did not want to program with other people the games would have to be small and easy to play.
