I won a package of M&M brand candies

Today I won a package of M&M brand candies from the Halloween million 2009 instant game. I can't wait to eat my candy, yummy. M&M's Halloween sweepstakes was one of the first sweepstakes I entered back in 2007. I entered it every day but, did not win anything.

Last year I entered m&ms Halloween sweepstakes maybe a few times or maybe every day I can't remember. But I did not win a prize. And then this year I have been entering the sweepstakes everyday and I won a bag of candy. Yay for me. I love candy. Sillys done. Goodnight.

As you know I want to become a porgrammer

As I have mentioned on my blog before I want to learn how to make computer programs. And you know I want to learn squeak. So one of my goals is to make a program that I have designed and put it on squeak source. But first I need to learn squeak and how to design programs.

So I have switched programming languages again and now I want to learn squeak. I am serious this time I am going to stick to it and learn how to make a programs. After almost five years of trying to learn how to program I finally hop this year I will make something. But I probably will fail again because I will switch languages in a week or two. This post makes no sense, sillys done, goodnight.

My winless streak is over

Today I won twice. First I received two books in the mail: Game over, and How to think like a CEO. I can't wait to read the books they look so interesting. And my second win of the day was a $25 home depot gift card. Yay for me I won, I won. I wonder if I will get any more wins this month. I guess I will have to wait and see. Sillys done, Goodnight.

I like plinky

I read about plinky on lifehacker probably six months ago and then signed up for the website but I had not answered a plinky prompt until today. I signed up for plinky because I thought it would give me an opportunity to write more. And if you have read this blog at all you know I need to practice writing more much more. But as I said I have not posted on the website until today so I have not gotten the practice writing I wanted when I signed up for plinky.

So I am writing this post to say from now on I want to answer a question everyday. Hey if I can enter hundreds of sweepstakes a day I think I can answer a question a day. This unexciting post is done. Sillys says goodnight.

Its the end of September so it is time to recap my

Its the end of September so it is time to recap my sweepstakes wins for the month. To bad I don't have any wins to write about because I did not win this month. In fact I have not won a prize since August 11. Six weeks I could not believe it when I looked it up. Poor me, poor me :).

This is the second month this year I have not won anything. In case you are wondering and judging by how many hits I get for my blog I know you are not the other month I did not win was January.

I won a prize every month last year but, this year the wins have dried up. There are a few months left in the year so maybe I will get a few more wins.

I suppose now I will have to see how long I can go without a win and not give up entering sweepstakes. I am not sure if this is the longest period I have gone without winning a prize but, it has to be to be close to the longest if it is not in fact the longest.

There are so many sweepstakes ending tomorrow

Today I looked through all the one entry sweepstakes ending on September 30 at sweepstakes advantage. And let me tell you there are a lot of one entry sweepstakes ending tomorrow. It took me hours to look through them all. But I enjoy the end of the month even thought I have to look at so many sweepstakes because I enjoy working hard and dreaming about the prizes I could win. oh no silly might run out of ideas for blog posts

Wow I have been updating my blog every day for almost three weeks. I sure does not seem that long since I started blogging everyday again. I have had a good time writing over these past few weeks. But yesterday and today I am starting to have trouble coming up with things to write about.

I have things I want to post like images I make with blender, gimp, inkscape and wings 3d. I also want to see if i can post some animations I make with synfig and blender but, I have not had time to learn those programs good enough to make anything. I hope I make some images and animations soon. I also want to post some of the code I write in python or basic4gl but, have not had not written any programs yet. Sillys worried about running out of ideas for blog posts. Goodnight.

I don't know waht to write about today

I don't know what to write about today so I will start writing and see if I get any ideas. Maybe I will say again that I want to start finishing the things I start. I mean if I can enter sweepstakes almost everyday for two years I think I can finish the things I start. I wish I were as dedicated to learning how to programs as I am to sweepstakes because if I was I am sure I would be able to make a program or two or three. To end this short post I will say I want to make programs not just learn programming language. Sillys done goodnight.

I have been entering sweepstakes for two years

I did not write down the date I started entering sweepstakes seriously but, I am pretty sure it was some time in September 2007. I can't believe it has been two years already. I have won 59 sweepstakes prizes in that time. Wow 59 wins that is more than I thought, cool!!! I won 9 times in 2007, I won 35 times in 2008, and I have won 15 prizes this year.

I don't remember the first sweepstakes I entered that September. I do remember my first win which I wrote about it in a blog post. It was a tony stewart #20 hat. I have won a lot of prizes since then and I hope to win a lot more. Hopefully I will get a few more wins this year or there is always next year :) Sillys done, Goodnight.

why I switch from one programming language to another

Today I will write about why I switch from one programming language to another all the time. One reason is its so exciting to try out different programming languages. Compiling the hello world program in a programming language I have never used before is so exciting. Another reason I try to learn so many programming languages is because I think everyone else probably knows a lot of languages so I need to know lots of languages too.

And yet another reason is I want to look smart. I want people to say oh wow look how many programming languages silly supercoder knows. I want people to think this code is a mess lets get silly to fix it. Except I am not a professional programmer and I don't work with anyone so I am sure no one would call me to save the day. As it stands right now if I were a professional programmer some one would need to be called in to fix my messed up source code.

The biggest reason I try so many programming languages is because I am afraid I will fail. Its always easier for me to switch to another language rather then try to solve problems like the ones on project euler. I come up against a problem I can't solve and I think maybe I will switch to a different language.

The problem for me with changing which programming language I want to learn all the time is I never get past a certain level of knowledge about programming. I am always learning the same concepts over and over again. I never challenge my self so that I will learn more.

So in the end if I keep switching programming languages all the time I will never achieve my goal of making my own programs. Either that or I will be very old by the time I make my own programs. And by that time maybe computers will program themselves so there will be no need to write programs. Sillys done Goodnight all.

Why oh why do I not notice I am entering expired sweepstakes

Today when I was entering daily entry sweepstakes I noticed I had been entering two sweepstakes that expired several months ago. One sweepstakes ended in august so its not so bad I had only been entering it for a moth after it ended. The second sweepstakes expired in June. Three months how did I not notice the sweepstakes had ended. Oh well at least it was not a year. Its a good thing the two sweepstakes only took a few seconds to enter I cant imagine how I would fell if they to several minutes apiece.

I do not know why the sweepstakes did not get deleted from my bookmarks folder but, now they are deleted and that is great because I wont be entering expired sweepstakes anymore I hope. But who knows there might be more expired sweepstakes hiding in my bookmarks just waiting to be found. Oh the excitement!!

This is probably the forth time in about a week that I have found out I have been entering expired sweepstakes. Ah we all make mistakes don't we. Mistakes come in bunches like my sweepstakes wins(:

Entering expired sweepstakes is not as bad as entering a one entry sweepstakes daily which I have done at least once. I think it was last year. If I would have looked at the entry limit on the entry form the first time I entered I would not have entered it daily. But I can't go back in time so I need to get over it. I want to make make programs

Continuing with yesterdays theme I want to make programs. But usually instead of making programs I spend all my time attempting to learn programming languages. This is the year I want to know if I can actually program or not. Its put up or shut up time. I want to make programs so it is time I start creating programs. I want results!!

So what kind of programs do I want to make I asked myself? I want to make games came my response. So games it is. So with the idea of making games in mind I am learning basic4gl. And for the past three of for days I have been learning baic4gl by reading through the tutorials on the basic 4gl website. I don't know if I will ever be able to make programs but how will I know if I don't start making programs.

I have done it again

I have tried to take on leaning to many programs and programming languages again. I always do the same thing, I start out wanting to focus on learning one or two programs or programming languages and then suddenly I end up trying to learn a lot more things than I can handle at one time. I need to set limits, yes that is it limits.

Yesterday I made my new years resolution and to be able to meet that resolution I need to focus. If I don't learn every programming language there is that is OK, did you hear me silly, did you. Besides I want to learn more than just a programming language I want to learn how to make programs. Also I can do other things if I am not always try to learn so many programming languages like read more books, pick up a new hobby, or learn how to write. And I will repeat it again so I can remember it I need to focus and finish what I start.

I hope its not to late to make a new years resolution

I want to make a new years resolution in September. I always start a lot of stuff but, never seem to finish anything. For instance I have tried to learn a programming language, but have yet to lean one or make any programs. I want to make animations, but I have only made two. The bottom line is I want to change. I want to be able to make my own programs, I also want to make my own animations. I want to finish things I start. I have a few months to accomplish my new years resolution so I need to get going.
