AutoHotKey programming langauge

yesterday I read a post on lifehacker about which programming language to learn first and I saw a comment by Gina Trapani about autoHotKey. She also put a link in her comment to a autohotkey tutorial that I want to try. I don't know what I can do with the language, I just want to try the tutorial.
