I am reading the book of ruby

A few days ago hacker news had a link to The book of ruby. Here are some reasons I want to learn some ruby: I want to make a video game using ruby game, I want to try ruby shoes, I want to create a ruby on rails application at Heroku Garden, I want to see what kind of programs I can write on twitter in one hundred and twenty words using rubyx. I hope I finish reading the book.
