Now for the sappy love story. Bobby quarters moved into the hotel three days after he bought it. So now there were only 13 hotel rooms free. Bobby moving into the hotel meant that he would have to see the gorgeous Maria a few times a day. At this point neither maria nor bobby liked each other but, they were polite to each other when they saw one another.

Then one day maria's cat penny got trapped high up in a tree behind the hotel and no one could figure out how to get the cat down. Along came bobby. He climbed that ten foot tree with his bare hands and feet so he could get to the helpless little kitty. As bobby was climbing back down tragedy struck. Bobby had a mild heart attack which caused him drop penny. Bobby fell five feet and broke his leg. Penny was fine because well cats always land on there feet. Oh but, poor bobby he was in bad shape with that broken leg at his advanced age.

He had to have a cast put on his leg and was laid up for months. He needed someone to watch over him so he decided to hire a nurse but, maria would not have it she wanted to look after bobby because he had saved her Siamese kitty. Bobby would have rather hired a nurse but, maria wanted to look after him so badly how could he refuse.

So bobby and maria got to know each other better by being around on another so much during bobby's recuperation. For instance maria learned that bobby like to tell jokes, his favorite candy was peanut brittle, steak and mashed potatoes was his favorite meal, he liked to put hot sauce on everything, she also leaned that he was an avid reader.

Bobby learned that maria was also an avid reader, liked turkey and mashed potatoes for dinner, her favorite desert was tapioca pudding, and bobby also learned that maria had absolutely no sense of humor she laughed at nothing. But he saw that maria enjoyed his attempts feeble as they were to make her laugh. The grew fond of each other as the months progressed.

Maria Money's father died in 1910 when she was in her early 20's. She was an only child and her mother had died years before in child birth so she was the sole heir to the Money family fortune.

She used her new wealth to start her soup kitchen and buy the clothes for the needy. But soon the fortune went dry because maria was an extremely giving person and gave money to anyone who said they need help.

So after almost everything was gone the only thing she had to sell was the Money Hotel but, she had lived in the hotel since childhood so one of the conditions of the sale was that she would be able to live in the hotel rent free for the rest of her life. Which meant that who ever bought the hotel would only have 14 rooms to rent out.

Maria living in the hotel also meant that she wanted to find someone to buy the it that she could get along with. But poor maria did not have much time before the debt collectors came to take the hotel so she needed to sell quick.

Along came Bobby quarters an old millionaire who wanted to buy the hotel. Even though bobby and maria had both lived in dollar city for years they had never met. And after they met for the first time she wished they would never see each other again. To say they had not hit it off would be an understatement. But maria had no choice but to sell the Money to the man she hated. Bobby's offer was the best. So she took it.

And now lets talk about the hotel money shall we. Maria Money's father built the hotel in 1850. Like the Two Dollar Bill the Money hotels exterior was pink stucco. The roof was covered with slate roof tiles. The Money was three stories with a porch surrounding the exterior of the first floor. The guests and some of the hotel staff loved to sit on that porch in the afternoons and evenings and talk about world events.

The interior of the hotel was amazing. The lobby had sumptuous overstuffed leather chairs along with wool carpet, the reception desk was made out of mahogany with a granite counter top, there was a wide staircase on the right side of the lobby leading up to the other floors where most of the rooms were.

The Money had fifteen rooms three on the first floor and six each on the second and third floors. Each room was the same - one queen size bed, one wash basin, two kerosene lamps, wallpaper designed and made by a famous artist, a closet for storing clothes, a mahogany writing desk on which sat one of the kerosene lamps, most of the rooms had windows.

Bobby Quarters physical appearance is best described as stunning. He had high cheek bones, baby blue eyes, jet black hair. In other words her drove women wild. He enjoyed how they adored him and tried to get his attention but, he enjoyed ignoring them more.

Oh yes and another thing about bobby he owned the famous Money hotel. The best hotel in southern California.

Another famous dollar city resident was Maria Money, aka high heels Maria. She was the most beautiful woman in all of dollar city. She was almost six feet tall barefoot but, with the four inch high heels she always wore she was six four. She had curly black shoulder length hair.

She was adorable. Everyone in dollar city said maria was the nicest person they had ever met. She started a soup kitchen for the the poor and served meals there three times a day three hundred sixty five days a year. She also bought clothes for the needy year around. That was maria always helping anyone who needed it.

Maria like bobby quarters never married. She never even had a boyfriend. She decided to make serving the needy of the city her life's work. Maria adored bobby quarters though and would have married him if he had wanted to get married. Bobby was the only man she ever loved.

The Two Dollar bill had a posh interior. Fine leather chairs for the waiting room, chandeliers made out of sterling silver, and hand made red wool carpet shipped from Scotland. The interior was painted white with dark wood paneling surrounding the interior. It reeked of cigar smoke. The rich patrons loved to smoke cigars after eating a wonderful meal. There was a constant sound of the clicking of silverware. The normal restaurant sounds.

The exterior of the two dollar bill was classical southwest with red terra cotta roofing and pink stucco covering the exterior walls. It was classical southern California.

There were some famous characters in dollar city. One was Bobby Quarters. Bobby was born in a mining town in northern California during the gold rush. No one is sure exactly when he was born but, people's best guess was July 4 1849. Of course he did have two parents but, he never said much about them. He did mention that they died when he was very young in a stagecoach accident. The particulars of the accident were never known.

Bobby was poor until at the age of 66 he spent all of his life savings on five hundred acres of land that just happened to have oil. Lot and lots of oil. He could now enjoy the final years of his life in the lap of luxury.

He had all his suits tailor made, a big mansion, many fine European sports cars, he drank the best wines and hired a personal chef to prepare all his meals.

One interesting thing about bobby is that he never married. He never even had a girlfriend or someone special as he would say. He was always to much into reading books and his other hobbies. He decided early on that he would devote his life to his hobbies. He saw marriage and love as a waste of time, as things that did not matter. Bobby did his own thing, yep.

I won an autographed photo

Today in the mail I received an autographed Lou Boudreau photo. The was no paper in the package that said which sweepstakes I won the photo from so I did a little searching and found out it was from tuffsuff.com. Fiction by silly. Bobby Block

Bobby is a block of wood. He is 4 inches by 4 inches square and is made out of oak. Bobby makes his living as a door stop now but, he used to be part of a door at the hotel Money in dime city California.

Dime city was a city founded by rich oilmen in the early 1900's. Back when there was a big oil boom in southern California. The founders were so rich they made the sidewalks out of actual dimes. Sure the sidewalks needed to be rebuilt ever few years but, what did the founders care with all the money they were making from oil.

Dime city had some of the best restaurants in all of California, heck in all of the world. One such fine eatery was the Cafe Two Dollar Bill. A signature dish at the Two Dollar Bill was poached salmon smothered in garlic with garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread to sop up all those lovely juices from the poached salmon. That dish was called Salmon on the Money.

Boring post

I am not in the mood to write a blog post

I am not in the mood to write a blog post but, I said I would write a blog post everyday and I will write a blog post everyday. I it will be boring but, I will write a post. I think for tomorrows post I will write some fiction so it should be fun. I like writing fiction because I can make things up. I can use my imagination. That's all silly's done, Goodnight.

I can't believe it I won again today

I won a coupon for two tubs of curly's BBQ product. Wow I am on a roll. Two instant wins in two days. I have not had that happen in probably years. October is turning out to be my lucky month. Yay. Go October

A short dull post

I am still reading squeak by example and hope to finish reading it by the end of the year, maybe sooner. Right know I am focusing on learning smalltalk instead of tying to learn a bunch of programming languages at once and not learning anything. Of course as I have mentioned before I need to learn a lot more than a programming language. I have a lot of leaning to do. what an exciting post. Silly's done, goodnight.

Talking about writing fiction

Yesterday I said I am going to write short fiction on my blog. So I started thinking about what kind of fiction I want to write besides bad fiction. And I came up with an idea. The big idea is I pick an object, or animal, or vegetable and make up a story about it. Its a million dollar idea I know but, its the best I could come up with in five minutes. I should have plenty of stories to write. Silly's done, goodnight.

Fiction anyone

Today I remembered I said I wanted to write fiction on this blog or create another blog that had only fiction written by me. I did not do what I said I would, surprise that always seem to happen. I try to do to much and never get anything done.

Any fiction I wright I am sure would be the worst fiction ever but, at least I would be able to make up my own worlds and characters which sounds fun. I am not sure I will be able to write fiction but, this time I mean it when I say I want to write fiction. Of course it world have to be short fiction but, it will be fiction. Pictures of my dictionary

Yesterday I mentioned that I use my dictionary a lot so today I decided to take some pictures and show everyone just how much I use the dictionary.

I am not sure how old it is but, probably at least ten years old. It is in bad shape. Some of the pages are ripped, and Parts of the pages are missing so that definitions of some words are missing. As you can see from the photos I tried to repair the dictionary with some duct tape but, the repair has failed over time. Anyone need a book repaired call me I have rock bottom prices. I guarantee that your book will be returned to you in worse shape than you sent it. I also would like to say that duct tape can repair anything.

I could replace it but, I am cheap and also I am attached to it after using it all these years. I don't want to ever get a new one. Sillys Done, goodnight.

I need to read more books

Today hacker news had a link to a New york times article about a women who is reading a book a day for a year. I read the article and thought I wish I could read that many books in a year. I don't think I could accomplish such a feat because I have never finished a book in one day. I think I did read a book in four days once but, it was a short book.

I want to read more books but, I am a slow reader. I read a sentence or paragraph and then I will read it again and sometimes again before I move on to the the next sentence or paragraph. Also when I come to a word I don't understand I look it up in my dictionary instead of guessing what it means.

Looking up words that I don't understand wouldn't be so bad if I remember the word the next time I read it. But I end up looking up the same words over and over again. Heck I even have trouble remembering the word I just looked up in the dictionary after I put the dictionary down but, before I start reading again so sometimes I need to look the word up a second time which is frustrating.

So anyway I was sitting in front of my computer dreaming about how great it would be able to read a book a day. Just thinking about something like that made me feel great. I Imagined all the great books I could read and how much better at reading I would become. It made my day. But sadly I don't think I could ever be able to read fast enough to read that many books. Maybe one book a week is possible but, I don't want to set a goal because I know I wont do it. I just want to dream.

Oh I am forgetful

Everyday either before or after I enter daily entry sweepstakes I enter one entry sweepstakes. But yesterday I forgot to look though one entries so I had to look through the one entries ending today this afternoon. Lucky for me I enter one entries a day before they end or I would have missed some sweepstakes entries and I don't want that to happen.

I won another package of candy from M&Ms

I won another package of candy from the Halloween million instant win game today. Its the second time in a week that I have won a bag of candy from the same instant win game. After I won I checked the rules again to make sure I could win twice and luckily I can. What a great win. Yay for me, yay for me.

This is turning out to be a great month as far as sweepstakes wins go. I have won four times this month, four times. I don't remember the last month where I won four times. Sillys done. Goodnight.

Making a new twitter background

I am excited about making a twitter background. Today while reading feeds in google reader I came across a tutorial showing how to create a twitter background, which I found at devsnippets. I suppose the twitter background I have now is ok but, why not make a new one. I don't know what color to make my background. I also don't know what type of graphics to add to the background after I finish working thought the tutorial, I hope come up with something.

I have also been thinking about making a profile picture for blogger and twitter but, I don't know what I want to make. I could put a picture of myself but, I am embarrassed at how bad my blog is so I don't want anyone to know what I look like. Though I am sure even if I did put use a picture of myself for my profile picture no one would know what I look like because no one reads my blog. And I must say I am glad the no one reads my blog. The not so great idea

You know how some websites have a frequently asked questions sections. Well I want to answer frequently asked questions too but, since no one asks me any questions I will make questions up. Of course I will think the questions are funny but, no one else will and they will also make no sense like all the other posts on my blog.

I will call this new feature questions that no one has ever asked me but, I want to answer anyway. The title is hilarious. I think it is a stupid idea but, no one will ever read the posts so I will go for it. I don't know how many fake questions I will be able to come up with probably not to many so it may be a short lived feature. I think it will be fun. Sillys done. Goodnight.

I am still reading the book smalltalk by example which must be a record for me. I usually change programming languages after three or four days. I am improving. I have no idea what I want to make with squeak.

Strike that because I think I do no what I want to make with squeak. Of Course I have mentioned it before. I want to make a website using seaside. I still have a long way to go before I will be able to make anything on my own. Of Course I may never be able to make anything of my own but, I want to give it my best shot and if I don't succeed I will know I gave it my best effort. This post if awful. Sillys done. goodnight.

Today I want to complain about my bookmarks folder

Today I want to complain about my bookmarks folder again. Why did I bookmark so many websites. Why oh why. It will take me a moth or two to look thought my bookmarks. I could have used that month to do other things but, now I will spend and hour a day trying to get my bookmarks cleaned up because I bookmarked to may sites. Woe is me.

On the positive side I found a few websites that I like. I would not have found those websites had I not bookmarked them. Also I am sure I will feel a sense of accomplishment when I do eventually tame my bookmarks. I don't have a sense of accomplishment after writing this awful blog post though. Sillys done, goodnight.

A few days ago I said I wanted to learn html 5

A few days ago I said I wanted to learn html 5 and I still do but, today I was thinking I could put up a website using html 4 just to get something up on my website. I need to get a website up at this point because I have said I want to make a website for years but, have never made a good one.

In addition to helping me learn html putting up a website make me practice jquery and php both of witch I want to learn. Bottom line I just want to get something up and running. I know it won't be great but, if I don't put up a website it won't be anything just an empty page. This lackluster post is over. Silly says goodnight.

I think I will use this post to complain about all the bookmarks I have in my bookmarks folder. I bookmark so many websites I don't know what websites I have in my bookmarks folder so the bookmarks are useless anyway.

All of those bookmarks make me feel overwhelmed. I feel like oh no I have so many bookmarks I need to look through them and get rid of some but, I never go though my bookmarks because I figure what is the point I will never be able to look at all of them so why bather. It is no fun think about all the bookmarks I need to look through

So what I want to do is look though say ten bookmarks a day and maybe eventually who knows maybe I will have a bookmarks folder with a lot fewer bookmarks. Wow that post was exciting. Silly done. Goodnight.

I need to start making things

I need to start making things with inscape or blender so I can have something to write about on my blog otherwise I will run out of things to write about. I mean I cant write that I now want to learn a different programming language everyday. Although there is probably not much I can write about some picture that I make but, at lest they are pretty. I won a package of M&M brand candies

Today I won a package of M&M brand candies from the Halloween million 2009 instant game. I can't wait to eat my candy, yummy. M&M's Halloween sweepstakes was one of the first sweepstakes I entered back in 2007. I entered it every day but, did not win anything.

Last year I entered m&ms Halloween sweepstakes maybe a few times or maybe every day I can't remember. But I did not win a prize. And then this year I have been entering the sweepstakes everyday and I won a bag of candy. Yay for me. I love candy. Sillys done. Goodnight.

As you know I want to become a porgrammer

As I have mentioned on my blog before I want to learn how to make computer programs. And you know I want to learn squeak. So one of my goals is to make a program that I have designed and put it on squeak source. But first I need to learn squeak and how to design programs.

So I have switched programming languages again and now I want to learn squeak. I am serious this time I am going to stick to it and learn how to make a programs. After almost five years of trying to learn how to program I finally hop this year I will make something. But I probably will fail again because I will switch languages in a week or two. My winless streak is over

Today I won twice. First I received two books in the mail: Game over, and How to think like a CEO. I can't wait to read the books they look so interesting. And my second win of the day was a $25 home depot gift card. Yay for me I won, I won. I wonder if I will get any more wins this month. I guess I will have to wait and see. Sillys done, Goodnight.

I like plinky

I read about plinky on lifehacker probably six months ago and then signed up for the website but I had not answered a plinky prompt until today. I signed up for plinky because I thought it would give me an opportunity to write more. And if you have read this blog at all you know I need to practice writing more much more. But as I said I have not posted on the website until today so I have not gotten the practice writing I wanted when I signed up for plinky.

So I am writing this post to say from now on I want to answer a question everyday. Hey if I can enter hundreds of sweepstakes a day I think I can answer a question a day. This unexciting post is done. Sillys says goodnight.
