I think the first programming language I heard about was C++. I believe it was on computer chronicles hosted by stuart cheifet and he was talking with someone one the show about a program that would teach you a computer programming language. Also on another episode of computer cronicles stuart went to EA sports and I think they used C++ to program their games.
At the time I had no idea how to program a computer. It probably sounded like magic to my ears. I would have thought you need to go to four years of college or something similar. I would have never thought that I could lean to program a computer. Never in a million years, no way.
