Bud was hopeful that he would never be caught because if he would there would be a big scandal. But budman was sure or almost sure that would not happen. In the meantime as long as Budman and Wyman were not caught they would get all the publicity out of there fake crime wave.

One of the crimes they set up to get Budman publicity was to steal the mascot for the computer city bar and grill. Wyman hired some toughs to break into the computer city bar and grill to steal their mascot which was a little teddy bear with a bib and a yellow sticked with the words computer city bar and grill on it. The bear was the heart and soul of the grill and the owner was devastated when he found the bear was stolen, he offered a reward of a free meal for a week to the person who was able to recover the restaurants beloved mascot.

Budman went on computer city television and vowed to recover the mascot for the owner of the computer city bar and grill. Budman rode his scooter to Wymans house on the outskirts of computer city where no one could see him go to Wyman's house. He knocked on the door and Wyman's wife answered and said Wyman would be with him in a moment.

Wyman a moment later arrived at the door with the bear. Budman was delighted because he would now be a hero. Budman had alerted the press who would be at the computer city capital building for a press conference. To the delight of the press and the owner of the computer city bar and grill. The owner instantly recognized the bear and ran to it to take it out of Budman's hands. He shook Budman's hand and said a loud thank you for returning he beloved bear.

Now Budman went into a long speech about how he was so happy to be able to do this favor for one of his most beloved restaurants. He was so proud of himself and said so to the assembled throng of reporters from the top newspapers and television stations in computer city. He congratulated himself on a job well done. The owner of the computer city bar and grill got up on the podium and said a few words of thank you to Budman and talked about how glad he was to have his wonderful little teddy bear mascot back. He also talked about how worried he was when he walked in and found the mascot missing.

After the owners speech the press conference ended and the press went back to their their respective offices to file their reports. Bud was proud of himself for the successful r fake rescue of the bear.
