Mark who lost his hair brush

Mark was already having a bad day since he was running late for a meeting. He spent the night before partying with his friends when he knew he should be asleep. He always good nervous before a big meeting at the office and so he could not sleep and when one of his friends called and asked if he wanted to go bar hopping.

He knew he should not go but, he went anyway. He would have a sleepless night anyway so why not have some fun. Though he thought he should not drink to much beer. He did not go easy on the beer and drank way to much. The bar hopping lasted for only one bar because his friends decided to stay at the computer city bar and grill. Mark returned to his apartment at around 3:00am to try to get an hour or so of sleep before he had to get up and prepare for the meeting. He did get some sleep but, not nearly enough though there was nothing he could do about that. The next hours past fast and before Mark knew it it was time to go to the office for his presentation.

The was one final thing he had to do before he left. He had to brush his hair with his favorite hair brush. But, he could not find it. He started to panic. He had to find that brush.

The hair brush had been with him since the first day of high school. His mother had given it to him for a gift. It had a gold handle with the logo of his favorite sports team on it and the bristles were long and many. He used it to brush his hair for everyday of high school and then into college. He had become attached to that hair brush and even given it a name. He named it Tom quixotic because it was so mysterious he could never tell what it was thinking or feeling.

Fast forward to Mark panicking about not being able to find the brush before his meeting. He looked in the couch under the couch. Under the television entertainment center. He searched the apartment high and low. He even searched the place that he remembered leaving it last but, still no luck. Then he decided to go out to his car and search there and what do you know he found the hair brush on his dashboard. How did it get there he did not know. And he did not want to know. His house was locked and he had all his materials for his presentation. So know mark was happy but, behind schedule. The end.
