The Case Of The Missing Tuna Sandwich, Page 4

The next show was actually a sporting event. The computer city comedy channel showed all the games of the CBA(Comedian Basketball association). It was made up of all the comedians who wanted to play basketball. Which amounted to about 200 of the worst basketball players in computer city. The may have been good comedians but, the were no basketball players.

The best player was a comedian named Bob Howman who was a comedian at the computer city bar a grill. It was amazing to Bud to know that Bob was a good comedian and a good basketball player also. Bob stood 6'5" tall and had a good shot from the free throw line. And he could do one thing that the majority of the comedian/basketball could not do and that was to be able to dunk the basketball.

He had one memorable dunk against the computer city comedy troupe team where he went baseline from the three point line and jumped when he was 10 feet from the basket and completed a one handed jam much to the amazement of the other team. The crowd rose with a thunderous applause.

But, most of the player and the play in the league were as laughable as the comedians jokes. Which is to say it was hilarious. A lot of the ball being dribbled of shoes and passes bounced off head air balls. But, people liked it because the got to see some of their favorite comedians make fools out of themselves and make them laugh.

Bud was surprised about the CBA because he had never heard of it before in his life. He thought the games were great entertainment. It was so fun for Bud because he liked to see if the comedians could make a shot or dribble. He yelled to Hank and Frank that this was some of the most fun he had had watching basketball because you never knew what was going to happen unlike the pro game where Bud knew that the players would probably be good on every play. The players in the Comedian basketball league were a lot more inconsistent where one play the might look like a decent basketball player and the next look like they don't belong a court.

The game lated until it was time for everyone to got to bed. It was a great sporting event to watch before bed because it was so much fun to watch. Hank and Frank were going to sleep in the guest rooms of the mansion since there were plenty of unused rooms. They were better than any luxury hotel in computer city and Hank and Frank could get to work early the next morning trying to figure out who took the tuna fish sandwich. Of course the could not get up too early as everyone they were going to interview would still be asleep.

Their rooms had big screen televisions and Bud said go ahead and watch some television so Hank and Frank got little sleep because they were up all night watching the computer city comedy channel and Sumo wrestling which was one of their favorite sports to watch together at the hangout were they both hung out. It was call The Place and it was a big gathering place for the computer city police department to go for breakfast lunch and dinner and also a place to hang out for work.
