That was also that bud had one of his best birthday parities ever. For a big surprise for his 6th birthday his parents arranged for bud to go bungee jumping. It was set up so he would go bungee jumping before the party. Everyone of the party guests would be at the computer city bridge to cheer bud on as he made this historic jump.

The magical day arrived sunny and cloudless. The party guests were brought by charter bus to the computer city bridge to witness Buds jump. Bud looked adorable in his superman outfit and harness. The red and blue of the superman outfit and green of the bungee harness looked sharp. Bud showed no signs of being nervous as he stepped toward the edge of the bridge and jumped off to the cheers of the crowd. He reached the end of the bungee and stated to bounce and bounce while screaming with glee yay, yay, this is so fun.

The bungee jump lasted for only 4 minutes but, Bud would remember it for the rest of his life. The freedom of having no ground under him. The bouncing up and down it was a blast.

Bud was raised to the bridges road surface to wild cheers of Bud, Bud, Bud, Bud. He raised his hands in victory and screamed Yay.Now it was time for cake so everyone jumped into the charter bus and rode back to buds house were a spread worthy of a king was prepared for the guests. There was fried chicken, Roast turkey, Jello, ice cream, sugar cookies, vegetables, rice cakes and the centerpiece a giant birthday cake in the shape of a star desktop computer. It was chocolate with strawberry frosting. It was delicious.

The was no way any present was going to top the bungee jumping experience so buds parents said in place of presents to give the money that would have been spent on them to be given to charity. Bud was now 6 years old.

That same year bud became of fan of skateboarding and watched every documentary he could on the sport. He even bought his own skate board though his parents would not allow him to ride it as they considered it to dangerous. "But, mom" Bud said. "But, what" Harriet said. "I want to learn how to ride my skateboard and I promise I will not get hurt I will be careful." "sorry Bud, I will not allow you to ride it until you are 18 years old and out on your own. The you can do what you want with your life, Ok. So stop bothering me and go watch television." "Ok, mom bud said." So bud went back to watching documentaries.

Even at such a young age Bud wanted to get the most out of life and not waste his time on things did not matter to him. So while other kids were out playing in the school yard he was inside reading books on his favorite subjects, such as skate boarding, or nanotechnology which he someday hoped to further with his programming skill thought at this point he did not know how he could make a contribution to nanotechnology but, he had plenty of years to find out how he could contribute.
