Sid back the 1995 planet rocket. And Bud, Harriet 3 and, Harriet piled into the back seat and front seats of the car. The day was clear and sunny with a slight breeze perfect beech weather.

The planet rocket was a car manufactured by the rocket car company of computer city. The company was founded in 1904 by Celia rocket a widow with 4 children who had no income or education when her husband died suddenly of a heart attack in 1903. In an era when women did not work outside the home it was unusual for a woman to found a car computer but, found a car company she did.

She bought some land with her husbands insurance money and hired some designers to design the first rocket car. It was called the Celia, after Celia rocket of course. She had the plans shipped to a manufacturer outside computer city she had contracted to build 24 Celia's. It took the manufacturing company 2 weeks to build the requested cars. Quick in 1904 terms. She had the cars shipped back to computer city by rail and truck and put the Celia's on her plot of land with a little shack for the dealership building.

She had her land bulldozed in anticipation of the cars arrival so now it was perfectly flat an read for the rocket cars. She put the Celia's on sail for 2,000 dollars a lot of money by 1904 standards.

The cars were pure luxury. The Celia's were 12 feet long with running boards and an electric starter, leather bench seats, head lamps, with a gold plated steering wheel. The car came in 2 colors red, and pink. Pink being Celia rocket favorite color and red bing her late husbands favorite color. With the hight price and an unknown brad of car it took a few weeks to sell the first Celia to a woman named Iris Hicks.

Iris had 2 children and she wanted to have her butler drive them to school but, her old care was not big enough to fit 2 children so when she saw an add in the computer city world for a new car called the Celia rocked she decided to go have a look and see it the car was for her. She arrive just a Celia was about to close up the dealership for the day but, Celia agreed to stay open longer for Iris. The moment Iris saw the Celia in person she knew she had to own that car no matter what the cost. "Celia I want to take that car home with me today. Can you make that happen. "Sure, I will make that happen" Celia said. Barely containing a smile.

So the 2 women went into the dealership office to draw up and sign contracts and with in the hour Iris was that the wheel of her brand new Celia rocket, with a smile on her face. She waved to Celia as she pulled the car onto the dirt road leading back to her mansion in computer city. And that is the story of how the first rocket car was sold.

Rocket car took 3 years to rocket into the public consciousness but, once it did the cars sold well. Celia rocket was a able to pass on the business to her children and her children passed it on to their children.

The longInteger's were long time customers of the Rocket car company. Sid and Harriet bought there car new a week after the model it the show room floor. And now they were using it to drive to a relaxing day on the beach.
