Buds Best Years, Page 47

They took a Taxi to the computer city Island movie theater. The name of the theatre is The Dream Land theatre. The build was a turn of the 19th century mansion that had been turned into a movie theatre. On the inside there were 12 movie screens. There were 4 big room on each of the three floor with a movie screen showing a movie in each.

The Truck driver was showing on the third floor room number 2. The inside of room 2 was cool and dark. The walls were white with grey carpeted floors. The longIntegers took their seats in the back as they thought that sitting in the back provided the best view of the movie. The lights dimmed and the movie started.

A big truck came racing across the screen and the camera started to follow the truck. The truck pulled over at a truck stop to get gas and food. Its then that we see the star of the movie George Hank. George asks the waitress for a burger and fries. As he sat eating the camera paned the truck stop showing all the trucks in the parking lot. And then the movie action started showing all the good George created using his truck. The movie shows how he takes the excess food from a supermarket and halls it in his truck to a shelter. The movie continues in that vein until the big climax with George at the end has to fight the evil truck and its driver Tank. Tank wants to ruin George because he believes that what George is doing is wrong and that all a person should be interested in is making money not giving away things for free. Their truck rack around in circles until Tank turns his truck and rams it into Georges truck.

Georges truck is destroyed and he no longer tours the country giving good to the poor because he is to broke he can not afford to replace his truck as his insurance does not cover the cost of a new truck. So George lives his final years as a broken and broke man. Then the credits roll.

"I was not expecting such a terrible ending" Bud said. "I second that assessment" Harriet 3 said. "I am glad got to do what he wanted for over a decade I just wish he could have spent his whole live helping people in need but, life does not work out as we always want it to." Harriet said.

In a somber mood the exited the movie theatre for the sort walk back to the hotel. For what was sure to be a much need nights sleep. When they arrived at the hotel the door man asked how everyone was and they all said in unison that they were find but, could not wait to get a good nights sleep. So they were read for tomorrows adventures.
